To the Allison Family:
I am so sorry for your loss. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the following Bible verse, John 11: 11 where Jesus said: “... Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.” Please also find comfort in knowing that our Almighty Heavenly Father holds out the hope of the resurrection and the ability to see our loved ones again.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that God will comfort and sustain you. Psalms 34:18 says that He is near to those broken at heart and saves those crushed in spirit. He truly knows the pain you feel. He assures us at John 5:28 that a time will soon come when we will welcome back to our arms those we have lost. Know that time is very near. Allow God to comfort your soul until that day arrives. Please keep His promises close to your heart. I offer my deepest sympathies to your entire family.

My life has been in the music profession as long as I can remember. that being said, I would like to share with you what I have learned about my friend, Scott. He brought me a book (literally) of many songs he wrote over the years. As a song writer, he poured out of his very soul the profound love he had for Jesus and what the Lord's sacrafice meant to him. He wrote about the joy of 'feeling' the presence of The Holy Spirit in his life and the 'magnatude of power' felt being in the presence of God.

Scott wrote about the heartaches of watching his children going through stuggles in their own life, as we all have, and how with prayer and love, God would turn them into GREAT things.

Altho we visited on many topics from music to Bible to raising kids and being a grandparent, his music is where I really got to know this great man of God.

My wife and I ache for the beautiful family Scott left behind as they go through this rough ordeal. All I can do is share with you what brings me peace:

Because of Scott's heart for Jesus, my comfort comes in knowing... I will see my friend again! God Bless, we love you.

We were shocked and saddened to hear of Scott's passing. Our apologies for not acknowledging your loss earlier, but I honestly don't check Facebook but once a week or so and only now learned the news.

Kathleen, we are so sad for you and the rest of your family and pray for peace and comfort for you all. I hope we are able to see you later this year - assuming there is a famaily reunion.

Much love and prayer,

Tim and Jane Morgan

Dear Kathleen and family, I am so sad--
what a wonderful treasure Dr. Allison was.
My deepest sympathy to you. Dr. Allison
lived his faith and I was privileged to
have known him and to work with him. He
was a great "one of a kind". Praying love
over all of you and that God will hold you
in the hollow of his hand.

Kathleen and family,
We have been praying for you that you will feel God's presence as you go through this very hard time. He will give you strength.
We had some great times when you were in Eagle Grove. I think of Scott's beautiful voice and how he enjoyed sharing that gift.
God's family can always take joy in knowing that we will see each other again in heaven!
Our love and prayers are with you.

Dear Kathy,

I remember telling Scotty about this cut girl from church and Wendy and I set up a double date in my old '57 chevy. That girl was you. You changed his life. I know I can say nothing to stop the pain of his passing, but wanted to let you know you are in our prayers. The Tyro "boys of summer" will
meet again in heaven. Until then I carry in my heart a blessing from having know both of you.

Kathy,
Just wanted to let you know that you've been in our prayers. Praying that you have the strength and comfort that you are needing right now. We especially have fond memories of Scott at the family reunions. He was always so friendly and had interesting stories! Also, remember the time when he coordinated the worship music for one of the reunions. He had some great music. I could tell he really loved the Lord. Stay strong and rest in the joy of knowing that we'll get to see him again!! I'm planning on being at the funeral, so hope to be able to give you a hug. Our love,

We remember Scott with great fondness during his time here in Iowa when he practiced medicine, and was an active part of our church fellowship, as well as a part of the Christian vocal trio w/Denny. We had so much fun with Scott & Kathleen and spent alot of time together during music practice and home remodel projects! Scott was very reflective in his faith - and we look forward to seeing Him again a "Just a Little Farther Long". May God bless his family.
